Change Of Tenancy
Please read the following information carefully:
- A lease agreement is a legal and binding document on both tenants and owners
- Changes to a tenancy agreement can only be made if a written request made by the tenants is approved in writing by the owner or their agent
- Tenants named on the tenancy agreement are responsible for the rent on the property
- You are in breach of the tenancy agreement if another person moves into the property before your request has been approved
The following forms need to be completed as follows:
Form 13 - Notice of Intention To Leave To be completed by any vacating tenants
Form 6 - Change of Shared Bond Arrangement To be completed by all original tenants and new tenants / occupants
Tenant Application Form - To be completed in full by anyone wishing to move in
Additionally ALL original tenants remaining in the property must provide current records of Proof of Income.
A Change of Tenancy fee of $100 is payable. Payment instructions are found on ECOT - Change Of Tenancy. The application can not be processed until this is paid.
